MLK Monday is a Day On. All Hands In. Fayetteville Serves.

Time & Location
Jan 19, 2026, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Fayetteville Urban Ministry, 701 Whitfield St, Fayetteville, NC 28306, USA
About The Event
Each month, our community comes together for Service Saturday, showing up consistently to serve our neighbors. In January, we shift that rhythm in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, moving our service to Monday, January 20th.
This is more than a volunteer opportunity. It’s a moment to put all hands in. Together, we’ll honor Dr. King’s legacy through action, unity, and service, working side by side to strengthen our community and start the year with purpose.
Volunteers will serve in our Emergency Assistance Department, helping organize and improve our Clothing Closet and Food Pantry, essential spaces that support individuals and families throughout the year.
Everyone is welcome. Bring a friend, bring your energy, and come ready to serve.
What to wear: Comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes are required.
Let’s show up together and let Fayetteville serve.
