In an effort to comply with directives from the Center for Disease Control (CDC)and the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS), Fayetteville Urban Ministry has modified its method of operations. Our goal is always to serve our neighbors in need, but we also want to ensure the safety of our clients and staff. Please see the changes in services listed below. Emergency Assistance/EA- We are still serving ready made food bags for clients. However, we are limiting access to our building, allowing no more than a couple of clients into the department at one time. This department will shut down direct services to clients at 12:30 PM.
Adult Literacy & Education Center- We are asking students and tutors to work remotely until further notice. The computer lab is off limits. Essential staff will remain on site to conduct intakes for new students or process new tutor inquiries by appointment only.
Find-A-Friend- We will not be providing services to our youth until March 30th. We are working in conjunction with the Cumberland County School system schedule. We will also follow the recommended guidelines of our Juvenile Crime Prevention Council & Governors Crime Commission.
Nehemiah Project- Client homes and repairs that are in process of shall continue.
