our community a better place. Fayetteville Urban Ministry(FUM) offers
many ways for you to step up and lend a hand.
Volunteer
Each of our programs depends on volunteers and each offers unique
volunteer experiences from mentoring youth or teaching adults; to
spending an afternoon stocking the food pantry shelves, sorting
clothes or putting together a team for home repairs. Our staff team
trains, coordinates, and nurtures hundreds of committed volunteers
for service in our programs. Volunteers are love made visible and
we wouldn’t be Fayetteville Urban Ministry without them. Look

Donate
By your gifts you choose to be a part of the change you want to
see in the world bringing hope, love, and encouragement to people
who have forgotten what those words can mean.
Gifts are often given in memory or in honor of someone special
in your life. Unless you tell us otherwise, your honorees, or their
families, will receive an honor card notifying them of your gift.

The Endowment Fund
Fayetteville Urban Ministry has a permanent endowment fund at
Cumberland Community Foundation. Our fund shares the 501c3 charitable
status of Cumberland County Community Foundation, Inc. and gifts
are tax deductible to the maximum extent of the law. Our fund
can receive gifts of cash, marketable securities, real estate,
insurance, bequests in your will, and Charitable Remainder Trusts.
Credit card gifts may be made to our fund online through the Foundation’s
website: www.cumberlandcf.org
Gifts of Stocks and Bonds can be transferred

Bequests can help you reduce inheritance taxes
by designating in your will specific gifts of cash, property or
a percentage of the remainder in your estate.
Collectibles – Many have collected many
and now they collect dust. Why not give them to Urban Ministry?
We collect collectibles for our various charity events, they are
a great way for us to build this organization.
