Fayetteville Urban Ministry - A Fayetteville Tradition

  Meet Johnny Wilson
Executive Director

Johnny Wilson Welcomes You to Fayetteville Urban Ministry

Serving Cumberland County residents since 1974, Fayetteville Urban Ministry (FUM) is a Judeo-Christian organization with interfaith partners supported by concerned individuals, the faith community, local business, and civic groups. Some of our programs also receive funding from private and federal grants.

The mission, to show God's compassion for our neighbors in need, and thus build our community together, comes to life in our programs. Urban Ministry offers four programs: Emergency Assistance (Food and Clothing), Adult Literacy (The Gift of Reading), Find-A-Friend (Youth Mentorship), and the Nehemiah Project (Home Repairs for Low to Moderate Income Home Owners).

We're glad you've found us! Feel free to explore our website for more information on FUM's programs, opportunities to serve, news and events.
